Sancaktepe Prof. Dr. Feriha Öz Emergency Hospital, or Sancaktepe Emergency Hospital for short, is a hospital located in the Sancaktepe district of Istanbul. Yesilkoy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Emergency Hospital, or Yeşilköy Emergency Hospital for short, is a hospital located in Bakırköy district of Istanbul. Hospitals were built during the COVID-19 pandemic and are planned to be used against situations such as epidemics or earthquakes. The start date of the hospitals is May 2020.

Following the announcement of the first coronavirus case in Turkey in March 2020, the construction of two large hospitals in Istanbul came to the fore. It is planned that the hospitals to be located on both sides of the city will have a capacity of around 1000 beds and be completed within 45 days. The construction of Sancaktepe Emergency Hospital started on April 9, 2020. After 50 days of groundbreaking, the construction was completed and the hospital was put into service on 29 May 2020. The construction of Yeşilköy Emergency Hospital started on April 9, 2020. After 52 days of groundbreaking, the construction was completed and the hospital was put into service on May 31, 2020.
